Alexx Privitera suspended by BU for rest of the season

As I had mentioned in an earlier blog post when BU played UND – Boston University head coach Jack Parker is big on respect, and doesn't hesitate to suspend a player for disrespecting an opponent or the BU hockey program. It looks like Jack Parker has seen enough of Alexx Privitera for the season.

BCHL recruit Wade Murphy commits to UND
UND picked up a pretty big recruit this week when the school signed forward Wade Murphy of the Penticton Vees (British Columbia Hockey League). Last season Murphy scored (36g-55a—91pts) in 60 games - this is the same Murphy who had recently decommitted from Merimack College. College Hockey going to the 3/4 shields?
Division I college hockey is considering getting rid of the full cages and going to the three quarter shields. According to Mike McMahon about 95 percerent of the division I college hockey coaches are in favor of this move.
This would be a great move and it would clean up the game of college hockey and cut down on unnecessary injuries.
