Schofield was injured in Sunday's 31-17 loss at Green Bay. Initially, it was thought it probably was only a sprain but further examination uncovered ligament damage that requires surgery.

It would be easy to dismiss O'Brien Schofield's consecutive sacks in the fourth quarter last week against the Browns as a case of the young Cardinals outside linebacker being in the right place at the right time.
