Phillip Wheeler visits the Raiders

Free agent linebacker Phillip Wheeler announced on his Twitter page that he was heading to Oakland to visit with the Raiders. The 27 year-old Wheeler has been playing for the Indianapolis Colts for the past four seasons, and put up some nice numbers in 2011 with 84 tackles, 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. Colts place LB Wheeler on injured reserve

The Indianapolis Colts placed linebacker Philip Wheeler on injured reserve Wednesday with a foot injury. Wheeler collected 85 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in 13 games for the Colts (2-13).
