Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bengals have claimed WR Conner Vernon off of waivers from the Browns.
The Bengals also waived P T.J. Conley.
Vernon, 23, signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Duke last year, but was later released before the start of the season.
Cleveland signed Vernon to their practice squad before Week 17 of last year. However...
According to Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals have signed second-year P T.J. Conley.
Conley, 28, is best known for his 2011 season in which he was the starting punter for the Jets. That year he averaged a fairly impressive 42.7 yards per punt, with a net of 38.8.
Since then, he has been in training camp with the Browns in 2012, but was out of football in 2013.
