Days of Y'Orr:
Didn't we just play these guys? I feel like the Bruins February schedule is home vs NYR, then at Buffalo, then at NYR, then home against Buffalo - rinse and repeat. I'm not complaining though because playing Buffalo is like Michael Jordan dominating a wheelchair basketball game. For a team I picked to finish on top of the Northeast Division - they're ******* terrible and it all starts with their overpaid defensemen (LOL WHICH ONE?!) in Tyler Myers. Myers is god awful. The kid won a Calder Trophy for Christ sakes, what's he doing? Is Buffalo ******* up his development or is he just another Andrew Raycroft "One Year Hero"?
Even his Wikipedia page hates his guts: (click for larger image)
Yeah, "The Big Easy". I have some other nicknames for him:
"The Big Idiot"
"The Big Turnstile"
"The Larger Than Life Parking Cone"
"Zdeno Chara's Down Syndrome Clone"

When Drew Stafford scored 3:24 into the first period on Friday night, there was no one happier in the arena than he was to finally get one to go his way.
“Obviously, that’s something I’ve been working for,” said Stafford, who donned the team’s brown fur coat that is given to their MVP of the night. “Finally it’s nice to get rewarded; now hopefully it floodgates.”...
Things certainly looked bleak for the Buffalo Sabres after two periods. The Bruins led, Ryan Miller was under siege and if things didn’t turn around, head coach Lindy Ruff might have very soon found himself on the unemployment line. Everything changed in the third period, when the Sabres roared back to overtake the Bruins and keep Ruff on the bench for at least one game more....
New England’s love affair with Dougie Hamilton has been very well-publicized. Hamilton’s early season success has now another chapter, as No. 27 has netted his first career goal.
The official time of the goal was 17:56 into the first period, a time Hamilton will likely never forget. Teammate Milan Lucic made sure to grab the puck out of the net for Hamilton, and that puck...
Anton Khudobin skates away as the Sabres celebrate their third goal of the third period.
If you turned the television off after the second period, you missed a lot. Through two periods, it looked as if the Bruins would beat the seemingly disinterested Buffalo Sabres with ease in front of their restless fans for the second time in less than a week. Then came the third, however, and...
The Bruins played a great 40 minutes on Friday. The problem is that hockey is a 60-minute contest.
The Sabres played like a desperate team during the third period, catching the Bruins off guard and scoring three unanswered goals. That turned a one-goal lead into a two-goal loss, and after the game — the Bruins’ second trip to Buffalo in a week — Boston was left wondering where...
The Bruins have had some tremendous success in the late stages of games this season, and that could be playing out once again in Buffalo on Friday night.
After trailing for much of the first period, the Bruins sprang into action, with Dougie Hamilton scoring his first career NHL goal. That knotted things up at 1-1, but something tells us the drama isn’t done just yet in this one...
Buffalo is a nice city. Just ask the Bruins. They have to pack up and go back to Buffalo for the second time in three games, all in the same week. The last time the two teams met the Bruins beat the Sabres 3-1 and overpowered the weak Sabres team. Both teams have only played one game since their last meeting. The Bruins lost in overtime to the New York Rangers in a thrilling game...
In a surprise move, Lindy Ruff is healthy scratching robust, burly D Mike Weber.
Cody McCormick and TJ Brennan will also sit this one out.
Why is Lindy compromising the grit and tenacity of his lineup by sitting a guy who has arguably been his...
If there was an honor for being the luckiest team in the NHL, the Buffalo Sabres might be the front runners for that award.
Multiple times this season Buffalo has been bailed out of their awful decisions, and has found itself in contention for a victory even though it was playing awful hockey.
On Friday, it happened again.
Despite an overly poor outing in the second period, and other...
Awful game. Absolutely awful game. After dominating the first two periods the Boston Bruins came out into the third period and took a huge John Scott size dump on the ice. Buffalo scores three unanswered goals and win 4-2. Ugh. This loss is worse than the one on Jan 31st. In that game both sides of the ice were an absolute ******** for Boston. Tonight's was just infuriating...
If the Boston Bruins want to break their two-game losing streak they'll have to do it with out MIlan Lucic. After practice today Claude Julien said Looch won't be available for tomorrow's game against the Winnipeg Jets due to personal reasons. He's returning to Boston right away,
No Milan Lucic vs. WPG. Has returned to Boston for personal reason.
No other team in the 43 year history of the Buffalo Sabres has run the emotional and physical gauntlet of gutting out 14 games in 24 days. Thanks to the NHL lockout, the Sabres had to play the cards that they were dealt. The team didnât skate on Wednesday. They practice today to prepare to avenge Sundayâs loss to the Bruins. The first 14 games of the season and dead and...
Despite jumping out of the gate with the best 10-game start in team history, there’s still plenty of room for the Bruins to improve as they continue their play through the 2013 season.
Once again, the Boston power play has struggled, much to the chagrin of the fan base. However, the plusses have outweighed the minuses so far, and the Bruins’ place on top of the Northeast Division...
Drew MacIntyre gets his revenge. The post Bears Fall in Toronto, 2-1 appeared first on Capitals Outsider.
Sabres D Reggie Sekera is doubtful for the Pens game on Sunday afternoon, according to Lindy Ruff.
Sekera suffered a leg injury when he was checked innocently by Boston's Shawn Thornton on Friday night.
Mike Weber was a healthy scratch vs. Boston. Weber will no doubt draw back in to the starting six D against his hometown Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon.
