This isn't the first season that Martin Brodeur's game has gone south during the playoffs. He's not a youngster anymore and the I know he wants to play as often as possible, but he's wearing himself out every season by playing a ridiculous amount of games. How many was he involved in this year, 78 or something? It's not like the Devils were fighting for a playoff spot and needed him to play that much. They're going to pay for it now. The next Devils coach need to have the sense and guts to limit Brodeur's appearances from now on.
