Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jack Johnson played for Team USA. Today, Johnson scored his first goal of the tournament. It came at 6:23 remaining in the second period and gave the U.S. a 2-1 lead. He also got a penalty for cross-checking, and he scored right after exiting the penalty box. Johnson had four total shots on goal. Kings/Canada goalie Jonathan Bernier was the backup and did not appear in the game. In fact, Bernier still has not played in the tournament. Tomorrow, the USA takes on France and Canada faces Norway.
