Days of Y'Orr:
Hey everyone, meaningful hockey is back! I'm so damn happy. Finally all the All-Star Game ******** is behind us. Skills competitions, fantastic bro hugs and the uselessness of the actual game itself are all a thing of the past. Now we can finally focused on the second half of the season and what the Bruins need to do to gear up for the playoffs. The first thing on that list? Beat Ottawa. Yeah, the Bruins need to beat the Senators to distance themselves from Ottawa in the standings. As it currently stands, Boston is 4 points ahead of the Ottawa (64 to 60) and Ottawa has played 5 more games than Boston. So with 5 games in hand, it's okay to assume that Boston will win the Northeast Division and be one of the top 3 seeds in the East. Of course, one injury and this could all change, but here's how the division breaks down post all-star game:Wow, remember when people thought Buffalo would contend for a Cup? Guess having a ******** of cap room doesn't mean anything when y...

Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli has no plans to trade reigning Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas.
"Not trading him," Chiarelli wrote in an e-mail to TSN's Pierre LeBrun on Monday. "I have not talked to anyone and I don't plan to."
Later saying that he "followed his conscience," Thomas got into hot water last week when he elected...
Rumors have been swirling out of control surronding Boston Bruins' netminder Tim Thomas about possible trades. According to tsn.com, when Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli was asked about trading his star goaltender, he simply answered: "Not trading him." Rumors surronding Thomas are ridiculous.
When Boston Bruins netminder Tim Thomas decided to skip the Bruins...
Tim Thomas just loves winning. The Bruins netminder was once again the winning goaltender at the NHL All-Star Game on Sunday, marking the fourth straight All-Star Game in which that's been the case. He's the first goalie to accomplish that feat. Thomas, whose won all four All-Star Games that he's appeared in, stood tall as Team Chara pulled off a 12-9 victory over Team...
If you think there's even a remote chance that Tim Thomas will be dealt this season, think again. Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli shot down any trade rumors in an e-mail to TSN hockey insider Pierre LeBrun. "Not trading him," Chiarelli reportedly said. "I have not talked to anyone and I don't plan to." Chiarelli's support for his goaltender...
from TSN, Tim Thomas isn’t going anywhere.
Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli shot down any trade rumours on Monday, saying there were no plans to move his star goaltender.
“Not trading him,” Chiarelli said in an e-mail to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun. “I have not talked to anyone and I don’t plan to.”...

While I certainly respect Boston Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas’ decision not to attend the White House ceremony honoring the reigning Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins almost two weeks ago, I don’t have to agree with it – and I certainly don’t. The Stanley Cup champion Bruins were all on hand - except for the team's lone American, goalie Tim Thomas. The reigning Vezina...
Athletes always seem to cause a stir when they make a political statement. Hollywood can freely express their views and people will nary say a word. Open statements criticizing the Iraqi war didn’t prevent Sean Penn from winning Academy Awards for his roles in “Mystic River” and “Milk.” Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas, however, has quickly become the object of scorn because...
A great showing by the Boston Bruins during the All-Star weekend. It started off with some sweet bromantic love during the All-Star Game Draft. Chemistry. Boston haz it.Also over the weekend was Globe's "ace" reporter Kevin Paul Dupon talking about the "hottest trade rumors" going around (in his head or possibly HF Boards).Another one had the Bruins dishing...
BOSTON -- While Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas, Tyler Seguin and the Bruins coaching staff were busy participating in all the activities involved in All-Star Weekend up in Ottawa, the rest of the Bruins got in some rare rest and recreation during their recent midseason break. Some took advantage of the chance to escape the winter weather for some fun in the sun, while at least one Bruin...
Despite being at the center of a controversy after he snubbed the Boston Bruins' visit of the White House, Tim Thomas remains and will remain a member of the team.
The Bruins got back to work this afternoon with a 2 p.m. practice at TD Garden. Coach Claude Julien made it back from Ottawa in time for the workout but goaltender Tim Thomas, defenseman Zdeno Chara and forward Tyler...
1. New York Rangers… LW: 3With 66 points in 47 games thus far, the Rangers lead the league in points percentage (.702) at the break.2. Detroit Red Wings… LW: 2The Red Wings are out-scoring opponents by a score of 88-39 at home this season, good enough for an NHL-best +49 home differential.3. Boston Bruins… LW: 1If you take out a remarkable November, Tim Thomas is 11-9-0 with...
