Sheesh...that is 5 now.....who the hell is next?

It's like the 70's Flyers all over again.

The real question is how much longer can the NHL act like these are just coincidental occurrences. A few of them, like the Randy Jones hit, I can overlook. It was a dangerous play, but Jones is not a dirty player and was just trying to finish off his check (albeit on a prone player). However somewhere the NHL needs to step up. It's said all the time, so I hate to repeat it, but it's going to take someone getting seriously injured before anything is really done.

It pisses me off that physical play is finally coming back into the NHL and these jackasses (Flyers) are going to make it go away. I understand it's a fast and physical game, but you have to know when to let up. I also think I found something with less class than the team, their fans. They actually booed when Andrew Alberts got back on his feet.

They booed Brodeur when he won his 500th but aside from that and the booing of Irvin when he crunched his neck at the Vet...is this....some team needs to fight fire with fire. Boston players should be more ashamed that no one had the guts to go after a Philly player. Time to get at it...fights and hits are up...suspensions like this will only make it worse. So just drop the damned instigator rule already.

Booing when a player turns out not to be injured is absolutely disgusting, butl I won't take them to task for booing Brodeur. Come on, he's a great goaltender, but thanks to SO wins he's gonna go down as the greatest ever, and that's just not right.
