Ryan Smyth and Scott Gomez to Calgary? That is definitely staying in the rumour bin. The only way thats happening is if Iginla or Kipprusoff are traded.

Yeah, I don't know how they'd afford it. I am very worried for the Isles though. They certainly cannot afford both Blakey and Smyth either. They've come so far and I hope they can keep the momentum going!

Rumor has it that Ryan Smyth sold his house in Edmonton and bought one in Calgary.
I was upset when I heard that bit of gossip because I was hoping and praying that he would come back to Edmonton. The fans really love him here! If I won the lotto, I would have bought a share in the Oiler organizaiton and pushed for his return!

Rumor has it, although I'm not sure I buy it, that the Sabres and Calgary are working out a deal to send Phaneuf to Buffalo. I'd be extatic but I'm not sure its for real. But if they're bringing in Gomez & Smyth then its more believable.
