With the Hershey Bears game-less until the weekend, Head Coach Bob Woods was a VIP guest at Verizon Center last night. Notes From the Garden, 12/3/08...

A solid night overall at a packed Madison Square Garden. Lots of people there tonight, including most of the lower bowl where tickets are always sold but the businesses that own them rarely show up. Daily Caps: The MASH Edition

Imagine where this team could be if they were healthy? I can't think of the last time I remember the Washington Capitals this beat up. Imagine for one second, just imagine, if the Redskins lost 7 starters. Oh wait, they did just last year. Ok, forget it.

Boudreau Hammers Caps Effort

What a crappy performance and effort by the Washington capitals last night. They dropped their first decision at home in the Verizon Center, but the problem was not the loss, the problem was the effort put forth. It was non-existent until the final 3 minutes, when it was already too late. HC Bruce Boudreau was not happy either.
