Game On!:
Talk to anyone who ever has been a teammate of Martin Brodeur and he'll tell you that among the goaltender's most appealing traits is his laid-back-ability. Sports Illustrated author Michael Farber underlined this point in a recent article that featured Brodeur's colleagues discussing The Man who, on Saturday night in Montreal, could tie Patrick Roy's NHL record of 551 wins. One who knows Marty well -- they were business partners in a Montreal pizza place -- is veteran NHL defenseman Sheldon Souray. The onetime New Jersey Devil and now with Edmonton, recalls a typical Brodeur dressing room vignette.

5 REASONS WHY SEAN AVERY IS A DOUCHE
By now you've seen the video of Sean Avery setting a completely bush-league screen on Martin Brodeur.
So here, at The World of Isaac, we've compiled 5 other videos of Sean Avery acting like a complete douche.
Thanks for the Memories, Sean
Sean Avery was certainly one of the more interesting characters to play for the New York Rangers over the years. He didn't have the quiet dignity of a Jean Ratelle. He didn't have the class of an Adam Graves. He didn't arrive as a Hall-of-Famer like Mark Messier or Phil Esposito. But he was an instigator. He was an agitator. And he was fun.
He likes actresses. He doesn...
Reversal of Fortune
Guess who is an Edmonton Oiler?? Yes this guy, Sheldon Souray. I don't know details of the contract yet, but this is a surprising signing. Wikipedia has info on the contract already but not sure if it's accurate (they say it's a 5 year deal 27 million which averages to $5.4 mill). So what do we think...

Babcock's Hunch Might Win A Bunch, After All
The other day, I was thinking about some of the most exhilarating and most disappointing playoff series in Detroit sports history. I did the Pistons and the Red Wings in my scattered brain. Obviously, the '87 conference finals -- Pistons/Celtics -- is right up there in the disappointing category, for it was the series of Isiah's "pass" to Larry Bird.
Anyhow, I rattled...
