  Clean hit. Red winngs play finesse hockey obviously the ducks dont. This is just good old school hockey if your more concerned with the pass than me Im gonna rip your head off.

  The Ducks are the dirtiest team in the NHL, but that was a clean hit as much as I hate to admit it.

  It was a clean hit and it changed the game.The Franzan goal should should have been called back and a goaltender interference penality instead.As Harrypotter would say the refs won the game for Detroit.

    I also think that the butt end of Brown's stick hit Hudler. If so, that warrants the penalty (and maybe more). it's hard to prove it though.

  The hit was 100% legal. If you think it was a penalty, then which rule did it break. There's no penalty for hitting a person hard.

  since when can you use your stick as a weapon?brown needs to go back to hockey school and learn how to control his stick!look again people...i say suspension if not the wings will bring back mccarty ask claude lemieux how that panned out.

  it wasn't the butt end of the stick! you can see at 1:43-1:44.that it was the part of the stick between his hands.he should be suspended,but after the wings win this series it won't matter anyway 4-0.vancouver sucks!

  He was cut by his visor when he hit the ice,if it was the butt end of the stick he would of never made it back in the game he would of went to the hospital.
