Flyers Acquire Defenseman Danny Syvret From Edmonton Oilers
The Flyers didn't waste much time this offseason working to improve their defense. On Friday Philadelphia Flyers GM Paul Holmgren announced they acquired defenseman Danny Syvret from the Edmonton Oilers. According to Holmgren,
"Danny is a puck-moving defenseman that sees the ice well and will improve our depth," said Holmgren in making the announcement.
