It was a New York weekend for the Flyers. It started off with a Saturday afternoon matinee against the Islanders. Sunday saw a trip up to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Rangers, a team the Flyers haven’t seen since the opener of the season. Coming into the game, the Flyers led the Rangers by a point in the Atlantic Division.
