Flyers dirtiest team in hockey

Another nasty hit on a Bruins player last night, I can't the Bruins haven't retaliated, their top player Bergeron is most likely out the whole year and his career could be over. The NHL needs to step up and do more to stop this hits

"The Philadelphia Flyers have played 23 games this season, and Scott Hartnell is on the cusp of becoming the fourth Flyer suspended for an illegal check:

Sept. 25: Steve Downie on Dean McAmmond (20 games)

Oct. 10: Jesse Boulerice on Ryan Kesler (25 games)

Oct. 27: Randy Jones on Patrice Bergeron (2 games)

Nov. 26: Scott Hartnell on Andrew Alberts (pending)

Hartnell got only two...which is really low considering most thought 5-7 minimum. This was different than the Bergeron hit even. What made me more mad was no Boston player really took a Flyer to task. Something is wrong in Denmark on that.

this is hockey right????i love the way the flyers play b b b broadstreet bullies

Hartnell's hit was cheap, guy was down on a knee, defenseless. 2 games is a joke, it's going to keep happening if that's the only penalty. I don't mind a nice hit into the boards, but cheap shots have no place in the game

Good clean hits are welcome in hockey. Some of the things being done by Philadelphia need to be answered by the league as well as the opposing team's enforcers.

the NHL has become too much of a "oo please dont hit me i'm to expensive to get hurt". Please! this is the NHL and hits happen, everyone is upset because the Flyers are going back to their old days of dominance. Stop being a bunch of pansies. If you dont like it then you dont deserve to play in the league. Lets go Flyers

I love the way the Flyers play hockey! That just shows that they are determined and are willing to do anything to get the cup and the end of the season!

Who goes after a puck down on one knee up against the boards? the guy had it coming to him, hartnell even tried to let up, but u can't stop completely when lining a hit up. The flyers are back to their old days of beating the other team up before beating them on the score board. Lets hope they bring back that old vicious hockey style that made the sport so great. LETS GO FLYERS!
