Flyers vs. Canadiens: Second Round Breakdown

After a thrilling Game Seven victory, the Flyers got one day of rest and they are back to the ice tonight to begin their second round series with the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens got only one extra day of rest after they disposed of the Bruins on Monday, so fatigue could be a factor in this series. Most experts believe that the Canadiens should have no trouble dispatching the Flyers, but these are the same people that all predicted the Capitals would win. Can the Flyers beat the Canadiens? Let's take a closer look.

The canadians are fast but the flyers are agressive this will be a good series.... it will pan out in our favor.... I would rather play the habs then the pens.

that game was an embarassment to the league..The refs completely blew that game for the flyers..Who seen richards throw a knee into that guy? What? No one? thats right because it didn't happen. Yet the Habs ended up on the PP to tie the game.
Or how about the goal with the high stick. The stick was clearly above the cross bar. Such much above it that it landed on the top of it as it came back down...
The flyers run is probably over. There is no way they can overcome this kind of one sided penalty calling. You know, when people said the league didn't want the flyers to advance past the Caps, I blew it off. But after watching tonights game, I'm sure they are right.
