Goaltender Ray Emery is on the Flyers radar, let's hope they stay away

PLAYERS: Ray Emery,  Martin Biron,  Antero Niittymaki
After a quick exit out of the playoffs, the Flyers have some serious work to do to in the offseason to fix all of the holes on their roster. The Flyers find themselves with too many forwards signed to big, long term contracts and not enough quality defensemen on the roster. They somehow need to turn a forward or two into solid defensive players.     not really but they do need to do something get better d men that can skate and i dont think they can make a serious push with biron there but as far as emery i say no. Maybe you could work a trade for briere for a quality d man or a goalie and use the cap relief to fill the other need.

    Sign Emery, he's better than Biron and they could use some attitude! He was a good goalie 3 years ago and he played good in russia. If he stays out of trouble and stays focused he is a much better option then Biron. And with the cap space saved we can sign someone on defense.

    NO, our core of players is 19-25, if your bring a hot headed young rock star like Emery into the locker, its going to be trouble.
