The Pittsburgh Penguins capped an emotional trade day by beating the New York Islanders 4-2, despite being undermanned in the early going and being outshot 52-20. Hossa injured already in Penguins' 5-1 loss
OK, this is just getting ridiculous.
Marian Hossa didn't even last two periods in his Penguins debut tonight. Hossa suffered what is described as a "slight MCL sprain" on his right knee when he banged knees with the Bruins' defender. Reports are as of right now that he could be out up to a week, but the Pens' broadcasters stressed that they didn't not consider the injury serious.

The Penguins acquired Hal Gill from Toronto and Marian Hossa and Pascal Dupuis from Atlanta. Pittsburgh gets a physical defender in Gill, and adds another scoring threat to their roster with Hossa.
