Houston Texans offensive lineman Chester Pitts was free on bail Friday one day after he was arrested and charged with speeding off during a traffic stop near Reliant Stadium [Pitts free on bail after arrest]. Pitts was released from the city jail early Friday after posting bail, according to a jail attendant. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday. Pitts is facing a charge of felony evading arrest in a motor vehicle, Houston Police Department spokeswoman Gabe Ortiz said.

Smush Parker was on the Miami Heat inactive list again Friday night, while the team investigated an altercation earlier in the week between the guard and a valet parking attendant [Parker still not with team…].
