Peca May Rejoin Isles Now With Yashin Gone

Looks like there was more to dropping Yashin than money...apparently Ryan Smyth refused to even consider resigning with the team if Yashin was on the roster, it also opens the door for a potential return of one-time captain Michael Peca, himself an impending free agent with the Maple Leafs.

Yashin scores more goals in an off year than Peca does in a good season. You want to pay Yashin $4million not to play and then give Peca a couple of million to ice the puck for you all season long? And what does this say about Ryan Smith, the cry baby. Waaah, waaah, I'm not going to play unless you get rid of Yashin and make me the captain. Who the fuck wants this prick as a teammate?
