Penguins Crush Flyers

Embarrassing. There is really no other word for it. The Penguins, on national television, embarrassed the Flyers 7-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Penguins, who played without their best player Sidney Crosby, beat the Flyers at every facet of the game, and played with more intensity, more skill and more heart.

what an embarassing effort

a sidless pens tear it up again, this seems to be the catch phrase...i dont want to say that the "The Next One" is over-rated, but a penguin team with Malkin at the forefront (another big night for him) seems to be clicking at an unreal pace....a possible trade for sidney in the summer? dont say that i didnt go there

flyers suck, how bout a year when sixers and phils make the playoffs and eagles and flyers miss them

From what I see, the Flyers play Defense with zero urgency, they get outskated & outscored almost WORSE than last year. And they can't protect a lead. It's really sad, this team has so much potential but they just don't seem to want it bad enough.

Pengiuns kicked flyer's ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Richards just came back from an injury, Gagne is out. Hatcher is out...we have been RIDDLED by injuries this year...makes it hard to get down any team chemistry.
Look at the beggining of the year when everyone was healthy...straight NASTY.
Oh, and Biron let sin the softest goals EVER.
Is it football season yet?!
-Dennis.

We still got the Phils and their great pitching to look forward to!

Ur kidding about their great pitching right? I like Hamels, Myers, and Moyer...Im still skeptical about Eaton and Kendrick...and dont get me started about our washed up, broken, bullpen.

hope our offense scores 15 runs a game, bc we're gonna need it!

Go Phils!

Sarcasm was definitely intended on my pitching comment

marty is good for one soft goal a game.... and that kills and energy the team has... not to mention modry sucks ass and losing hatcher just means we are 3 times faster on the blue line but goalies has to make the easy stops

ha, for a while the phillies were the gutless pukes, i think we have a new team thats overtaken that role in philly.
its time to blow this entire organization up, n it all starts with ed the dumbass snyder. i know that its a good thing he's aggressive in his decision making, but he needs to make better decisions n learn to be a little more patient. who knows if hitchcock was really the problem, n who knows if theyd be in this whole if roenick was still here. that guy was the heart n soul of this team.

I think the team is fine. Injuries killed our team chemistry. Losing Roenick hurt from a fan point of view, but lets face it, he isnt the same player he was years ago and I dont think he could help this team more than he would hurt it...

i think stevens can be a great coach but i think last year it was a little early to let hich go and worse they let him go to a different team insead of having him help out with homer and stevens

the flyers look like shit the last 25 games. after a tremendous start and getting our hopes up, its just another end to a philadelphia sports season. but all the injuries to flyers didnt help us recently either. but on the penguins, Crosby is not as great as people say. Malkin is better overall than Crosby. Crosby is an assist guy, but look at his assists this season, i bet you 50% of them are him just flipping the puck behind his back and getting lucky ... his first assist against Tampa Bay back from his injury, he hits a Lightning players skate, gets a lucky bounce and hes the greatest assist-er now? please. ill take Malkin, Ovechkin, Gaborik, Richards, Iginla, or Alfredson over Crosby
