Second-period goals by the Predators' David Legwand and Dan Hamhuis have given Nashville a 3-1 lead after two periods.
Legwand scored unassisted at 3:20, skating into the slot between Zach Boychuk, Brandon Sutter and Tim Conboy and zipping a shot past the Canes' Cam Ward. Hamhuis scored late in the period off a perfect feed from Michael Santorelli, who scored the Preds' first goal of the game. ...

Erik Cole gave the Canes a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal at 17:10, with assists from Zach Boychuk and Chad LaRose. But the Preds tied it 1-1 at 18:08 on a blast from the left circle by Michael Santorelli.
