Senators need the Sharks, but do Sharks fans need Heatley?
The notion that the San Jose Sharks are facing a ticking clock on a potential Dany Heatley trade, as reported/opined by Malkin To The Kings in this morning's Ottawa Sun, is a little preposterous, no?Consider the fact that their first overture for a player who demanded a trade was summarily dismissed as inadequate by the Ottawa Senators, both in personnel and in timing. Consider...

Eklund: Does Zherdev Ruling + Oilers Blessing= Dany Heatley, the NY Ranger? Maybe.
I talked about it today on the podcast but it is worth repeating.
With the Oilers giving the Rangers their blessing and the Zherdev ruling all but assuring the Rangers and out of nearly 4 million, I would not be surprised to see the Rangers back into the running for heatley. and many of my sources agree.
One just texted me, "Dubinsky is the key still, but now it is possible...

All kinds of chirping in the blogosphere about a three-way – kinky! – involving the Canadiens, Senators and Sharks.
