This is a gutsy move by Recchi. In my opinion he should have still kept his mouth closed bec ause it wasn't anybody elses business. Yes, he is good but when he trash talks Michael Therrien as he is leaving town, is just complete stupidity!

Actions speak louder than words. Rex should keep his trap shut and put his money where his mouth is. Now that he has spoken, he has set himself for failure and public ridicule. At best, he produces and looks like an ego-centric fool. At worst, he fails to produce and looks like a has been who was last to know that his time has passed. I have always liked Rex, but was sad to see his sour grapes on display.

Recchi FTW 9 pts in 9 games with ATL...Penguins are bunch of whiners like always...some1 call the waaaaaahmbulance ....WAAAAAH the flyers beat us 8-2....Waaaaah Crosby got checked...Waaaaaah we never make it to the play-offs. Recchi did the right thing...there is no way he should be playings 4th line and the fact that his goals are power play goals or that his assists are 2nd assists does not matter...they are still goals and they still help score goals! I don't care what the situation or the job is, if you are not happy, you will not perform well. Recchi did not perform well in Pittsburg for whatever reason, yet he has played like the champ he is here in Atlanta. Recchi has been a fantastic assett to the Thrashers so far and as for me, I'm glad to have him in my home town!
