PLAYERS: Alexi Kaigorodov,  Mike Comrie,  Petr Nedved,  Jason Spezza
After losing out on Petr Nedved, the Senators have acquired the center that they have been wanting, with the absence of Jason Spezza and Mike Fischer due to injuries. Mike Comrie has 7 goals and 20 points in 24 games this season. Comrie, who I have found to be quite an injury-prone, overpaid enigma, is making $3 million this season, and will be a free agent in the summer. The 26 year-old, at his best, could score about 30 goals this season. In his NHL career, he has 110 goals and 237 points ...

    Senators got a steal here. Kaigorodov is an unproven commody, while Comrie was a guy who could put up 60 pts, while skating with the less than dyanmic offences of Edmonton and Phoenix.

    Once Spezza comes back, Comrie will make a great second line center, and can act as a good stopgab until.
