Touchdown Rangers!
It was a special night at the Garden, as the Rangers lit up the the Thrashers, 7-0, last night in game 3. Fans waived terrible towels (a la Pittsburgh Steelers) as the puck was dropped; 32 seconds later, the Rangers took the lead on Nylander's first of three goals on the night. The Rangers dominated every aspect of the game from that point. Jagr had 4 assists. Rookie, Ryan Callahan had 2 goals. Lundquist stopped all 21 shots that got through the Rangers defense. Sean Avery continued to piss off Tkachuk and Kovalchuck and baited them both into misconducts. The only thing the Thrashers won last night was the penalty minute count. They finished with a total of 72 penalty minutes to the Rangers 51. Rangers go for the sweep tonight.
