Ben Valentine Prepare for an atypical week of trading in salary cap hockey. Normally, we see four or five teams with dense schedules, five or six with light ones and a whole bunch of squads with the regular three games a week. However, the league wide off day on the 18th means just two teams, the Stars and Canucks, actually have four games in this upcoming trade period. That makes players on those two teams extremely desirable for the next week. Unfortunately in the case of the Canucks' that's leveraged by the loss of Daniel Sedin for 4-6 weeks. Not only does that deprive you one talented player to choose from, but it may also decrease the effectiveness of his brother and line mate Henrik. The other thing to consider is that with so many teams having just a pair of games this week, you are less likely to suffer drops if you own someone who does.
