Niklas Kronwall laid one of the biggest hits in NHL playoff history on Martin Havlat. A perfectly clean hit and one that the referee thought was legit until Havlat laid motionless on the ice.In the hometown call of hometown calls, Kronwall was given a game misconduct which later proved to be costly to the wings in OT.

This was a scary hit from the Blackhawks victory Friday night over the Red Wings. Niklas Kronwall is the tattooer, Martin Havlat is the receiver. YouTube user crazieman76 summed up the legality of the hit and penalty ruling nicely:
