Flipping through Sunday's edition of The Washington Post with my
morning coffee, I was surprised to find an image of celebrating Toronto
Maple Leaf players in what I thought was the Travel section. Such a
non-Caps hockey image even in the Sports pages would be unusual; but in
Travel? But there it was, in full color. It
seems guest writer Mark Stevens visited Toronto as part of the Post's
$2009 Getaway Challenge, and took in the Hockey Hall of Fame (pictured,
right), a Leafs-Islanders game, and some frosty beverages to boot all
for just over 500 bucks -- including his flight.
