Anaheim goaltender Victor Fasth turned aside all 31 Colorado shots and the Ducks posted a 3-0 win in Denver last night to improve to 7-1-1. Fasth has won his last three starts and allowed two total goals in them. More impressively, he dealt San Jose its first regulation loss of the season and kept Minnesota at bay as well. Sheldon Souray led the Ducks with a goal and an assist in the win. Souray has now scored in three straight games so the veteran defenseman is piling up the points for your team if you have him. It was a light night on ice so let’s check out the other two games. Tyler Seguin and David Krejci scored third-period goals to lift the Bruins to a 2-1 over Montreal. Tuukka Rask improved to 6-1-1 stopping 20 of 21 Canadien shots for his second straight win. Boston’s goals in the first 2:05 of the third erased the lead that P.K. Subban staked Montreal to. Dallas slipped past Edmonton 3-2 in overtime on a Jaromir Jagr goal 1:46 into overtime. Jagr and Jamie Benn each had a g...

Ducks And Fasth Continue To Impress

from Eric Stephens of the OC Register, Viktor Fasth conquered his native Sweden the last two years and the Ducks were eager to get him to this continent and give themselves a backup goalie they could count on. Forget about being a reliable backup. Fasth might be set on taking over the NHL. Fasth stopped 31 shots for his fourth victory in as many starts and collected...

A Pair of Strapping Lads.

A rare and fantastically awesome Dominion addition to my Ryan Getzlaf Collection is the subject of today's cardboard post. This bad boy has mad character along the left side of the sweater strap as well as at least one seam - all of which is on the Getzlaf side - which is a sweeeeeet added...

The visiting Ducks could start Victor Fasth in goal as they search for a fifth straight victory Friday night in Dallas, where they failed to solve Kari Lehtonen in their last two visits. Anaheim (7-1-1) opened a six-game...
