Check out this spear by Alex Ovechkin, that is unacceptable and it will be interesting to see if the league will suspend Ovechkin for his spear on Ottawa Senators tough guy Chris Neil. The video doesn't lie, that was a blatant spear and if Ovechkin doesn't like being checked he should take a number and get Neil back the correct way.
To add injury to insult Chris Neil was given a 2-minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for “diving,” after the game the Senators forward Chris Neil was less than impressed with the spear by Alex Ovechkin.

Ovechkin spears defenseman in dick, defenseman gets called for diving
Listen, not many things hurt more than getting hit in the groin. Even the slightest contact to that region can make you feel like you're going to throw up some organs. I once cried after being flicked in the nutsack by some drunk asshole.
With that being said, I really feel for Chris Neil here. He gets hit in the groin AND he gets penalized for diving? Talk about being...

For forty minutes on Wednesday night, I was left with the impression that Alex Ovechkin had really changed.
