The Capitals beat the Senators last night 5-3. This is Ottawa Senators Player Chris Neil taking a stick to the midsection by Alex Ovechkin. Or was it. Ovechkin was simply skating down the ice to catch up with the play. The stick barely looks like it touches Neil and you can see Neil look to his left to see where the referee is before he goes down to the ice. Neil was eventually...

With that being said, I really feel for Chris Neil here. He gets hit in the groin AND he gets penalized for diving? Talk about being...

The focus in trying to become a more complete player having taken a toll on his ability to break a hockey game wide open at key moments, Ovechkin was playing well against the Senators, but you could tell that he was thinking too much.
Not...

The Caps need confidence desperately. Hopefully, their 5-3 win in Ottawa will give them some of it back. They scored on a power play, finally, after blowing a 5 on 3. Alex Ovechkin scored a goal after turning away from the d-man, stopping in an instant, sending ice shavings into the air, and lifting a wrist shot past Craig Anderson. Troy Brouwer scored 15-seconds later on a...
