Logan Couture is a good ol’ Ontario boy, but didn’t spend time in Ottawa until he was drafted by the OHL’s 67s is 2005.
Prior to that, he played ‘AAA’ junior in his birth town of London, where he was teammates with the Los Angeles Kings’ Drew Doughty.
But Couture remained true to his major junior roots last night in the skills competition, trading the Sharks emblem for something more appropriate:
In four seasons with Ottawa, he racked up 111 goals and 176 assists in 122 games.
Daniel Alfredsson, of course, generated the largest reception on the ice, as the Senators’ captain. Meanwhile, Zdeno Chara and Marian Hossa, both Czechoslovakian, were seen chumming it up on the bench during the skills competition. The two played together from 2001-2004 for Ottawa, while Hossa’s days with the Senators extends to 1998.

That last one isn’t guaranteed because the sample size is too small to call...
