The Bruins will have a new look to their lines when they take on the Jets in their final visit to Winnipeg on Friday. Forward Rich Peverley suffered a third-degree MCL sprain in his right knee when hit by Canadiens defenseman Hal Gill in Montreal on Wednesday. Peverley will be out 4-6 weeks, joining fellow forward Nathan Horton (concussion) on the sidelines. Peverley had replaced Horton on the top line with David Krejci and Milan Lucic. Benoit Pouliot now moves up to that unit, while Daniel Paille moves up from the fourth line to Pouliot's spot on the third alongside...

Ty Anderson: Peverley out 4-6 weeks from knee-on-knee hit; Rask vs. Jets

Game-day in Winnipeg comes with a dose of bad news. By dose, I mean cup. Boston winger Rich Peverley will be out for the next four to six weeks with a 'third degree' MCL sprain. The injury came on an uncalled knee-on-knee hit from Montreal's (who was traded to Nashville as I wrote this) Hal Gill. Adding to the Boston woes headlined by the concussion to Nathan...

Milan Lucic’s Vancouver Church Receives Dong, F-Bomb Spray Painting

Remember the Vancouver riots after the Stanley Cup and how the idiots involved acted like they were Euro scum? Guys such as the Raging CanAsian who thought he was Billy Badass with his designer glasses and a Canucks shirt? Well, the morons aren’t finished being Euro-Canadian douchebags. Here’s the church where Bruins LW Milan Lucic took the cup on his visitation day and where...

Lucic’s church in Vancouver defaced

The NHL trade deadline is approaching and more and more, it looks like the Bruins may have to seriously pursue some help up front. Milan Lucic and hockey hate: Why Canucks fans have earned a bad reputation

We hate him for his church? In the wake of the first arrest stemming from last year’s post-Stanley Cup Final riot, Vancouver Canucks “fans” continue to prove they are still pathetically bitter about last year’s loss. Congrats to the idiots in the City of Vancouver, you’ve done it again. In the latest exhibit of hockey-oriented idiocy, this week an individual chose to write...

Tim Thomas, Benoit Pouliot Lead Bruins in 'Road Trip Rally' Win Over Canadiens

Maybe a road trip is just what the Bruins need to right themselves. The B's pulled out a much-needed win in Montreal after coughing up a 3-1 lead in the third period, but the Black and Gold prevailed in a shootout thanks to Tim Thomas' stellar goaltending. Benoit Pouliot's highlight-reel goal against his former team helped too, and the Bruins began their six-game road...

The Boston Bruins may be atop the Northeast Division, but they haven't won back-to-back games in over a month. Rich Peverley being injured isn't likely to help, but facing the Winnipeg Jets might.
