Forget St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th is St. Patrick Kane day in Chicago. You may remember the last Blackhawks promotion for the Illinois Lottery, where Patrick Sharp dressed up in a dog costume and surprised a fan with a Valentines Day gift basket. In their most recent promotion, they put Patrick Kane to work in the Blackhawks store, where puzzled customers and fans looked on as...
I’m pretty sure the shootout was created specifically for guys like Patrick Kane and Pavel Datsyuk. There’s not a whole lot a goalie can do on this, even though Kane lost control of the puck, he still dangled Bobrovsky. Bobrovsky has been playing really well for the past month, but he didn’t have a chance to stop Kane. The goal gave the Blackhawks another win in a shootout...

Boy, I dont know if Ive ever bought into the learning...

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been playing very well lately and even took the league-best Chicago Blackhawks to a shootout on Thursday night. But, in order to get there, Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had to make this awesome last-ditch effort stick save. Now Chicago Blackhawks forward Dave Bolland should have lifted the puck, but it was still a great effort by Bobrovsky...
Although they're at nearly opposite ends of the Western Conference standings, the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets have had three competitive matchups this season.
The results, though, have continued to be one-sided.
