The Chicago Blackhawks signed general manager Stan Bowman to a three-year contract extension on Tuesday. Financial terms were not disclosed for the deal that spans through the 2015-16 season. Bowman, 38, became the youngest general manager in NHL history to win a Stanley Cup after the Blackhawks upended the Philadelphia Flyers in six games in June 2010. The victory ended Chicago's 49-year drought without the Cup. Bowman, who is the son of legendary coach Scotty Bowman, is now in his 11th season with the team.
