For any of you who don't know who Saad is: he was the Hawks' second round pick this year, the third player they selected, a 19 year old kid from Pittsburgh who played in the U.S. National Team Development program, before joining the Saginaw Spirit in the OHL.
The Chicago Blackhawks said there was nothing new to report on the condition of injured forward Marian Hossa.

After nearly two minutes, Hossa was taken off on a stretcher with an apparent head injury:
CHICAGO Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville didnt mince his words.
"The refereeing tonight was a disgrace, he said following the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 overtime win Tuesday at United Center.
He intentionally cast a blanket over the entire performance, but his ire was sparked by one particular play.
Midway through the first period, Coyotes forward Raffi Torres lined up Chicago...
Really brutal hit here:
What is the Phoenix color guy even saying? Torres got no penalty, according to reports Hossa was sent to a Chicago hospital.
The NHL is basically out of control at this point. Wow.
The Chicago Blackhawks Marian Hossa took a nasty illegal hit from the Phoenix Coyotes‘ Raffi Torres tonight that left him motionless on the ice. As you can see after the jump, Torres left his feet for the hit so he’s likely going to face a suspension. He’s a repeat offender, so he could face 10 games.
Brendan Shanahan needs to send a message to Torres before he paralyzes somebody...
“This has spiraled from out of control to total chaos. Do we really need a player to die on the ice for this insanity to stop?”
