The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Radek Martinek to a one-year deal worth $2.2 million.Martinek was one of the top free-agent blueliners left on the market. The 34-year-old had three goals and 13 assists in 64 games with the New York Islanders last season.Martinek has spent his entire career with the Islanders, who made him the 228th overall pick in the 1999 draft. The 6-foot-1, 203-pounder has 21 goals and 82 assists in 453 career games.
