9:30 a.m. ET: The Stanley Cup will be in the building on Monday night, and it will be the visitors who have a chance to hoist hockey’s most treasured prize.
The Bruins and Blackhawks will play Game 6 Monday night in Boston where Chicago will look to win its second Cup in four years. The Hawks took care of business Saturday night when they beat the Bruins 3-1 in Game 5 giving them a 3-2 series lead. They’ll now get their first chance to close out the series with Game 6 at TD Garden.
It’s not an unfamiliar position for the Bruins, though. The B’s were in the same position in 2011 against Vancouver. After losing Game 5 on the road, the B’s returned to Boston for Game 6 and the Bruins rolled to a 5-2 win that extended the series, a series which they ended up winning in seven.
The Bruins may be up against it on Monday night, though. Patrice Bergeron left Game 5 and had to go to the hospital with what was later categorized by coach Claude Julien as a “body injury.” Bergeron’s status for ...

Let's start with Saturday night---
Two goals by Patrick Kane and 24 saves by goalie Corey Crawford led the Chicago Blackhawks to the brink of the Stanley Cup Title late Saturday night.
The Hawks now lead the best of 7 series 3-1 and game 5 is Monday in Boston.
The game itself had some interesting stories. Perhaps the most significant is that of Boston forward Patrice...
As the Boston Bruins prep for a must-win Game 6 at the TD Garden, the status of Boston center and alternate captain Patrice Bergeron remains unknown. Taken to a Chicago hospital (and spending the night there) after skating just two shifts in the second period of the Bruins' Game 5 loss at the United Center, there's just no way to accurately measure the enormity of any absence...
Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews participated in Monday’s morning skate session, while Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron did not. Towes did not play in the third period of Chicago’s Game 5 win Saturday because of an upper-body injury. Blackhawks coach Joel
Jonathan Toews is "doing much better." Patrice Bergeron is "day-to-day." The questions about Marian Hossa and Nathan Horton have subsided, even though both are likely still hurting.
Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final could come down to which team is healthier Monday night at TD Garden, although -- as is often the case this time of year -- it's difficult to judge...
Patrice Bergeron was only the tip of the injury iceberg for Boston on Saturday night.
Franklin Morales, Clay Buchholz and Bergeron were all bitten by the injury bug, each to varying degrees. Hopefully, the rash of injuries isn’t contagious, as neither Boston teams could really afford many more missing men.
NESN Nation’s Alison Smith and Dan Duquette were looking for silver linings...
