The Bruins announced the release of forwards Lane MacDermaid and Max Sauve from the training camp roster Sunday. The two players will be assigned to Providence. This will be MacDermaid's third season in Providence. In 78 games last year, he scored seven goals and had 12 assists. Sauve will start his second full season in the AHL.
