This is not something that you see very often during a hockey game.  Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler fell off the bench while waiting for a line change, and then had to scramble to get back on the bench. Luckily for Fowler the referees didn’t call a too many men on the ice penalty because he’s going to be embarrassed enough about that one. His teammate Hampus Lindholm was laughing at him when he got back to the bench, making this video even funnier. [Puck Daddy Blog]

Anaheim Defenseman Cam Fowler Falls Off Boards, Teammate Gets Big Kick Out of Failed Line Change (Video)

To be fair, 99.9 percent of the time, Cam Fowler can get on and off the ice with the best of them, but it’s that .1 percent that made for some slippery comedy on Friday night. The 21-year-old defenseman went through a series of unfortunate events during the third period as the Ducks were taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning. While Fowler was anticipating a line change, he perched...

Coyotes look to close gap on division-leading Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have already defeated the Phoenix Coyotes twice this season, but those meetings came at home. Visits to the desert haven't gone quite as well. The NHL-leading Ducks attempt to avoid a five-game road losing streak with a rare victory in Glendale on Saturday night. Anaheim (16-6-3) scored the final four goals in a 5-2 win over Phoenix on Nov. 6. Things didn...

Ducks' Fasth injured in pregame warm-ups

Anaheim Ducks goalie Viktor Fasth sustained a lower-body injury in pregame warm-ups Friday night and is being evaluated, the team said. Fasth missed 14 games earlier this season with a lower-body injury, and Frederik Andersen capably filled his spot.

Steve Palumbo: Ryan Getzlaf & Jonas Hiller Help Ducks Snap Losing Streak

Viktor Fasth was supposed to get the start against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night. He never made it past warm-ups, allowing his battery mate, Jonas Hiller, to step in and step up in his absence. Fasth, who has already missed 14 games with a 'lower body ' injury, tweaked something in warm-ups and was unable to play. While unfortunate for Fasth, it turned out to...

Friday funnies brought to you straight from hockey’s own players, media personnel, and broadcast botches. We’ll be mucking it up every week right here, examining puck ups, puns, tweets, and more! Ducks Rebound With Solid Home Stand

The Anaheim Ducks rebounded nicely at home after struggling on their most recent road trip. Despite playing three tough opponents the Ducks managed to win two of the three home games, and earned points in all three contests. The home stand started with a 4-3 overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night. It looked as if Anaheim was going to stop the bleeding of their...

Ducks beat Lightning in OT with 5.2 seconds left

Anaheim...
