Fox Sports Carolinas announced today that 30 of the Hurricanes' 65 televised games this season will be produced and distributed in high definition. That's twice as many as in the 2008-2009 season. The first high-definition telecast will be the Oct. 2 season-opener against the Philadelphia Flyers. Fox Sports Carolinas will show four or five games each full month of the regular season in HD except for March, when there will be eight HD telecasts.
