Vancouver Canucks injured left wing Daniel Sedin did not make the trip to Los Angeles for Game 3 of his team’s opening-round series with the Los Angeles Kings.

Sedin, who suffered a concussion on March 21, did not practice or skate with the team Saturday before they left for California. A former employee of the Canucks said on Twitter that Sedin would not play at all in the opening round of the NHL Playoffs.

“You know, there is no timeline on these injuries. I can't tell you more,” head coach Alan Vigneault told reporters when asked if Sedin could play in Game 4. “He's not skating with the team and he's not coming to L.A. I don't know about reports like that. Again, I can't comment more than what I've been telling you.”

Vancouver trails Los Angeles 0-2 in the series with the next two games at the Staples Center.

Sedin scored 30 goals and recorded 37 assists for the Canucks this season.
