TEAMS: Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers
The Vancouver Canucks will travel to Florida to take on the Panthers on Monday. Roberto Luongo, who spent 5 seasons with the Florida Panthers, makes his return to Florida. He’ll likely get the start against the Panthers. The Vancouver Canucks began their 4-game road trip Saturday in Boston where Luongo has heckled by Bruins fans, despite not starting in the game. The Canucks are on top of the Western Conference because they’re 17-4-2 in their last 23 games. Earlier this year, these 2 teams made a trade each other on Oct.22, where the Canucks sent Mikael Samuelsson and Marco Sturm to the Panthers for David Booth and Steven Reinprecht. Last year, the Canucks acquired Keith Ballard and Chris Higgins on separate trade transactions. For my predictions, I think the Canucks will win a close one 3-2.
