Washington Capitals prospect and Traktor Chelyabinsk forward Evgeny Kuznetsov has officially changed his number from 92 to 84 according to our friends at Russian Machine Never Breaks.  Though the announcement was made back in July, the team and Kuznetsov spoke nothing else of the matter until team pictures were taken, with Kuznetsov sporting his new number. Kuznetsov has not been asked, nor has given a reason as to why he changed his number. Based out of Chelyabinsk, Russia, Traktor have risen up the ranks of the KHL, losing in the Gagarin Cup (the KHL’s version of Lord Stanley) to KHL powerhouse HC Dynamo Moscow. Besides Kuznetsov, Traktor’s roster sports former NHLer’s Jan Bulis, Stanislav Chistov, Petri Kontiola, Maxim Kondratyev, and Andrei “AK-46″ Kostitsyn.
