Former NBA All-Star and current TNT analyst Charles Barkley pleaded guilty to drunk-driving charges in a Scottsdale, AZ court, and has been sentenced to five days in jail. On top of the jail time, Barkley has been fined over $2,000 and ordered to enter an alcohol awareness program. Under Arizona State law, Barkley?s vehicles will be installed with a breath alcohol ignition interlock device. He will begin serving his sentence on March 21. Barkley was arrested for drunk driving on Dec. 31st in Scottsdale, AZ. A police report showed that Barkley had a blood-alcohol content of .149, well over the legal limit of .08 in Arizona. In his first public comments since the incident, Barkley apologized for his behavior. "I think that a DUI is unacceptable," he said.
