LOS ANGELES — Daniel Carcillo just found out why lockouts simultaneously help and hurt the labor involved.

The Chicago Blackhawks forward suffered what is being called a “lower-body injury” during the team’s 5-2 win over the Los Angles Kings on Saturday.

Carcillo was checked into the boards by the Kings’ Drew Doughty before falling to the ice.

He eventually got up and  skated to the dressing room.
