Colton Sissons of the Kelowna Rockets is the only Pred prospect to be invited to team Canada's training camp next week (Decembert 10th - 15th). The 19 year old right winger was in early contention for the scoring title, but his production slowed down in the last month and he is now ranked 34th in the WHL in points   (10 Goals, 17 assists). Sissons is a very talented player who is captain and on the first line of the 5th place Rockets. Here represented team WHL in the Subway super Series vs the Russian All Stars, but didn't record a point.  In a normal year, Sissons would arguably be a shoe in for a top position on team Canada, but the lockout means that the top end talent is not restricted to their NHL teams which makes for a feircer competition. That combined with a good upcoming draft year means that Sissons will need to really put some effort into making the roster.  Jonahthan Huberdeau, Ryan Nugent Hopkins and Ryan Strome are examples of players that would probably not be released if there was a season. Ryan Murray would also be included on that list if it weren't for his unfortunate and recent injury.  If Sissons does make the final roster, which will be announced at the end of next week, he will probably be on the third line. It is too early to speculate on his linemates at this point, but expect TSN analysts to dedicated hours to doing so anyway. Brandon Leipsic and Brent Andrews, both had slightly less likely chances of being selected for the tryouts but were predicted by some analysts to be part of the training camp this year. Andrews is having a phenomenal season with the Halifax Moosehead, who are dominating the QMJHL. Leipsic has been fluttering between hot and cold with the Portland Winterhawks. Neither recieved an invitation.
