“I would love to play another year and maybe more. I don’t know,” the 37-year-old Moscow native said today after a lengthy workout at the Devils’ practice facility. “I feel healthy and I had no problems last year. And I know if I stop now years later I’m probably going to think about, ‘What if I played another year?’ That would be something that, obviously, I would love to do and did for so many years.”
Where would he play?
“That’s the question,” Brylin said. “I don’t have a contract right now, so I don’t know. If it’s going to happen, it’s going to happen and it’s probably going to be in Russia because I know it’s tough get a job here in the NHL when you’re 37 and you’ve been out of the league for three years, but we’ll see what’s going to happen.”
