Same ole Bruins this season. Too little too late on the effort. Too many mental miscues. A power play more impotent than a 90 year old man on life support. The season is young. The Bruins will in all likelihood make the playoffs. But that doesn't make this **** show we've been watching any better. We love you guys. We're paying to see you. Maybe reward us a little, eh? It's one thing to just get beaten by a better team that night. It's another to play like **** 40-50 minutes a game and then be surprised you lost.  Hey, at least we got to see Johnny Boychuk make a couple more orphans tonight. He's a beast. We love you Johnny. Also, Rask, we're sorry you're getting the "Robin Lehner" treatment where your team completely fails to show up most of the time and you keep losing despite being freaking awesome.  Whatever. We'll do a better recap when the Bruins start playing like they care again. - Johnny...

B’s Beat: You’ll Never Guess Who Tuukka Rask’s Celebrity Crush Is (VIDEO)

Kathryn Tappen (who is a smoke show) of the NHL Network asked players who their celebrity crush is. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask’s answer will throw you for a loop for sure. I guess he’s “Crazy In Love” with his choice. Looks like Beyonce is more of a football fan than a hockey fan, but Tuukka Rask is a stone cold gangsta in his own right. Look out Jay-Z…..   Pot Of Baked...

Rask, Bruins keep Panthers reeling

Tuukka Rask made 29 saves and the Boston Bruins got goals from four different players to hand the Florida Panthers their seventh straight loss, 4-1 on Thursday night. Rask improved to 9-1 against Florida in helping Boston win for the third time in its last seven home games. The Bruins have won five straight and seven of their last eight against the Panthers. Florida has lost 10...

Boston Bruins' Loui Eriksson Will "Definitely" Play Tuesday Against Former Team. Johnny Boychuk Expected Back As Well

Tyler Seguin returns to Boston Tuesday night for the first time since the blockbuster July trade that sent the young forward to the Dallas Stars. The man the Bruins essentially swapped for Seguin will make his own sort of return Tuesday night. Bruins coach Claude Julien said Tuesday that winger Loui Eriksson “will definitely be in [the game].” The 28-year-old Swede has missed...

Brad Marchand Gets Monkey Off His Back, Sparks Bruins in Much-Needed Win Over Florida

BOSTON — Brad Marchand is no stranger to the monkey. The monkey follows him sometimes, as it does most streaky goal scorers. And that damn (dirty?) monkey has a way of coming out to play at the most inopportune times. Much of the conversation in the Bruins dressing room Thursday night, especially around Marchand’s stall, centered around that annoying little primate. The monkey...

Defensive Breakdown by Bruins Leads to Quality Scoring Chance for Panthers (Video)

The Panthers were able to create a few quality scoring chances in the first period of Thursday’s game at TD Garden because of some uncharacteristic breakdowns defensively by the Bruins. Among Boston’s mistakes were poor positioning, missed defensive assignments and players taking too long to step up and stop the puck carrier. Watch the video above for a full analysis of the B’s...

Chara: I hate being in minus column

In case anybody was wondering, Zdeno Chara detests the idea that he’s a minus player one month into the season. The debate can go on until the cows come home about the reasons why he's a minus player, and the overall merits of the plus/minus stat, but the Bruins captain is a minus-1 for the season after 14 games. To put that in perspective, Chara was a plus-80 over the last...

Berkshire Bank Rewind: Bruins’ Puck Pursuit Leads to Torey Krug’s Goal Against Stars (Video)

The Bruins are a relentless team when they don’t have the puck in the attacking zone, and that was evident in the build up to Torey Krug‘s game-tying goal on Tuesday night against the Stars. A good pinch by defenseman Adam McQuaid and strong puck pursuit by Reilly Smith and Carl Soderberg helped force a turnover, and when Smith got the puck back, he delivered a perfect pass...

Frustration mounts for the Boston Bruins

Just when it seems like the team is going to get out of their losing ways and get a win in a game they played well in, the Bruins find a new way to take a loss in the standings. Tuesday night, a poor line-change late in the third period resulted in Dennis Seidenberg having to take a hooking penalty leading to a penalty shot. Less than a minute later, a 2-1 game in favor of the Boston...

Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Bruins Looking to Break Out As They Take On Lowly Panthers

BOSTON –The Bruins are looking to turn things around, and lucky for them, the Florida Panthers are in town. With the way the B’s are playing right now, though, nothing’s a sure things. Boston has lost four of its last five games, and they’re struggling in all three zones. But as bad as the Bruins are playing, the Panthers have arguably been worse — and they have been that...

Behind the Scenes: Boston Bruins Talk About Dominating Win Over Florida Panthers

The Boston Bruins crushed the Florida Panthers 4-1 Thursday night at TD Garden.  CLNSRadio's Jonathan Lemons takes you into the B's locker room to hear what Tuuka Rask, Loui Eriksson and Torey Krug had to say after the game.

Bruins, Rangers Combine for Monumental Trade Sending Phil Esposito to Rangers on Throwback Thursday (Video)

The Bruins welcomed back a superstar on Tuesday night, as Tyler Seguin returned to the Garden for the first time since being traded to the Stars. Seguin was shipped to Dallas over the summer, and while the unceremonious departure led to a blockbuster seven-player trade, it was far from the first time the B’s traded away one of their cornerstones. From Joe Thornton to Phil Kessel...

Tyler Seguin returns to Boston: Did Bruins give up on him too soon?

When Tyler Seguin steps onto the ice at TD Garden Tuesday night in Boston, it will be not only as an opponent, but as the once future face of the Bruins. Though he played only three seasons in Boston, the current Dallas Stars center will forever be linked to the Bruins probably one of two ways. It could either be as the underachiever the Bruins were right about or the superstar...

Bruins get back on track, beat Panthers 4-1

The Bruins got back on the winning track and beat the lowly Panthers 4-1 at the TD Garden. It was another slow start for the B's (stop me if you've heard that these past three weeks). A scoreless first period between the two teams with not much going on, save for a questionable high-hit on Chris Kelly from Jesse Winchester which saw no penalty called. Gregory Campbell fought Winchester...

Bruins forced to deal with it

No matter how the summer’s blockbuster trade turns out — and we could be years away from determining the real winner — this one thing is certain: The Bruins’ 3-2 shootout loss to the Dallas Stars last night at the Garden had to smart a little bit for the brass. After the B’s lost a late lead on a self-inflicted wound from two of their more veteran players, the teams went...

Loui Eriksson to play versus the Stars; Boychuck possible, too

photo via isportweb.comSome good news for the B's ahead of their Tuesday night tilt with Dallas: winger Loui Eriksson will return after missing 5 games due to a concussion sustained two weeks ago versus Buffalo.Claude Julien said Loui Eriksson is definitely in for tonight & that Johnny Boychuk is most likely in vs. Stars #BruinsTalk— Joe Haggerty (@HackswithHaggs) November...
